Marlboro Park Hospital and the Bennettsville Downtown Development Association (BDDA) held a Bennettsville After Hours to introduce the new CEO at Marlboro Park to the city. Arbor Day, the first Friday in December, was celebrated by the City of Bennettsville by planting a Willow Oak Tree on the grounds of the Municipal Building. A group of city and community leaders gathered for the cermony.
